I lived in the apartments by Dillons on 20th at the time. We were having a BBQ. Lost everything but our lives. We were the lucky ones.

Joplin doesn't look the same. I lived there most my life and I couldn't tell you where I was when driving around. and that was after 2 months.

We’re still rebuilding. It will never look like it once did. That hospital is where I used to work in OB, 8th floor, it was 9 stories. The tornado picked up and moved the concrete parking garage. It was devastating.
