Do you know what sucks that I’ve been doing hair for 10 years I’m a stylist that’s Supercuts and we don’t get anything except hourly rate and tips so yes, Supercut is charging a lot, but the stylist doesn’t get that

It’s 2026, if you’ve been behind the chair more than 10 years, your haircuts can NOT be under $100. Like, I’m seeing some of yall say you charge $55. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?????????? Unless you’re a junior stylist or right out of beauty school it’s YOUR duty to master your craft so you can make a living. My haircuts are OVER $100 and this will be my 15th year behind the chair. After I hit 10 years I went from $90 to $100.. and now it’s more. Hairstylists deserve a livable wage. Why does every other profession get promotions after years with the company, but we’ve been behind the chair for years and your haircuts still reflect the pricing in 2005, it’s a problem.

I worked for them right out of school. I still stand 10 toes that they’re one of the best companies to work for as a brand new stylist out of school. Their education program to be certified to be on their floor is fantastic and way more in depth than I ever received from the old man instructors at the school I went to. I’m 15 years in the industry and am independent now and still have 0 regrets working for them initially

I started at a Supercuts 10 years ago and it was not that expensive 😭 I suite rent now and for a wash cut and blowdry I only charge $40 😭😭

In our area people cannot afford those prices I would rather charge less and have more clients who tip well than charge that and do a few people a day
