I have had a lot of that in the UK but I have learnt to block those ppl out and go for what I want, I have learnt to build ppl up when I have witnessed others trying to bring them down and I have encouraged my students to do whatever it is they want to do and not to be afraid to go for what they want, to focus on being self sufficient, to become entrepreneurial, build together if need be but don’t let anyone talk you out of going for what you want to do.. we have nothing to lose but everything to gain..

Yes, lot comes from family when I told them I wanted to be a police officer and then an investigator. I stood my ground accomplished my goal. He's right got hardly any support. Instead I got " You can't be a police officer". I said, I can be anything I want to be. They where all surprised that I made it all the way to investigation. Stand 10 toes down. Don't let anyone put doubt in your head!
