Corporate baddie here. I use the four weeks plus paid leave of 2 months making it three months of vacation per year. Managers just be saying "please take lots of photos! We will be waiting for your recommendations!" Damn i love Australia 🥰

If people have too much annual leave banked up then their employer can actually make them take leave. we have 4 weeks leave a year and we are excepted to use it.

It’s also normal to study the calendar for the year and book in a few leave days around the long weekends and public holidays to maximise your time :)

I had 3 times the vacation time of my US colleagues when I worked for a US company (6 weeks vs. 2 per year) and they STILL would never let me take more than 1 week off at a time. They thought I was crazy for just suggesting it.
