don't need to book a ticket in advance. after reaching the station, just buy and select the seats.

my family is coming to visit me in japan and they land in narita airport. i fully intended to go see/welcome them at the airport and help with navigating transportation and luggage but then i saw their arrival time, how bloody far narita was, and the cost 😩 they land at 6:20am and it takes me 1.5-2hours, and about 3000 yen. wth

you missed that one when you reach the airport, the only way to get thru is to put in your train ticket...plus you sucica card, it's an extra 13 dollars. very inconvenient. 😏
