@setaparthealth: I used to be a tiny, skinny kid, and when I started growing I went through a super awkward phase and was super unhealthy and ugly. Because of that I became the class clown. Making people laugh felt like the only way people would like me, so I’d do anything for attention. Now I’m 6’5 and somewhat attractive, and I’m not saying that in an egotistical way, it’s just the reality. What’s crazy is how differently people treat me now. People show more respect, listen more, and some are even a little intimidated just because of my height, which I really don’t understand. It really opened my eyes to how much looks affect how people treat you. Humans naturally judge by appearance, that’s part of our fallen nature. But the Bible reminds us that while people look at the outward appearance, God looks at the heart. 🙏 It also made me realize that judging appearance isn’t always completely wrong. I don’t think humans will ever get rid of it. For example, when I marry a woman, she’ll obviously be attractive in my eyes. We’re naturally drawn to people we find attractive. A lot of the time, attraction is connected to signs of the health of that person.BUT appearance might catch our attention, but character is what truly matters. #looks #height #judge #grown #fyp
