i think what hurts the most is that the program that you are in now was the one you said was your dream since childhood. but now that u're already in that program, that dream seems to have vanished because you can no longer enjoy it anymore and can't see yourself pursuing it. u start to think and reflect on whether you're still walking on the right path. now u feel lost and just want everything that is happening to u to end.

i no longer feel the excitement. Easily distracted, I've been procrastinating for a long period of time. Suddenly my thoughts just ask me "gagraduate ba ko ng walang alam?" That's the reality check, the fact I know if i keep doing it I'll eventually be empty headed, learning nothing from this program. Kinda sucks, kinda hurtful, kinda scary.

when u don't have the resources to change courses and you just have to keep on saying "kakayanin ko 'to". I don't even question myself anymore, kasi in the end, wala rin naman talaga akong choice. Everyday is a silent battle for everyone, kaya for ppl na fighting alone, w/ no one to rely on, sana we keep fighting.

It's a different kind of pain also if you're studying a program that you've never had love to study. The feeling that whenever you get overwhelmed or tired because of the tasks from that program, you start to ask "Why do I have to endure this hardship?" because in the first place there's only one ambition in my heart that makes me willing to endure any hardship/tiredness. But, whatever happens, let us remain patient. I believe we are redirected by God. Let us have faith and find beauty in rage, struggles, and pain. 🥹❤️‍🩹

Same, during college ganyan na ganyan din ako. Feeling ko hindi talaga ako nag-e-excel kahit anong kayod ko. Kapag exam na, halos hindi ko maintindihan yung mga nakasulat. Minsan naiisip ko pa na parang ang bobo ko that time, kaya napapaisip talaga ako kung para ba talaga sa akin yung program na kinuha ko. Not until dumating ako sa fourth year at nagkaroon kami ng OJT. Doon ko na-enjoy at doon ko rin mas minahal yung program ko. And now, isa na akong Registered Social Worker kakapasa ko lang noong 2025. Siguro may mga subject talaga na nagpapatanong sa kakayahan natin, at meron din namang hindi. Pero ayaw ko ring i-invalidate ang nararamdaman ng mga taong nakakaranas nito, kasi super hirap talaga ng college. Valid ang nararamdaman niyo. Naniniwala ako na someday makikita niyo rin ang dahilan kung bakit kayo nandiyan sa program na kinuha niyo. Kasi naniniwala talaga ako na hindi ka ilalagay ng God sa sitwasyon na ’yan kung hindi mo kayang malagpasan.

been there way back in my 2nd year, but I just let things happen. remember that no one is rushing you to figure everything out right away. growth doesn’t have a deadline, and it’s okay to pause, breathe, and even change directions if you need to. college isn’t a race but rather a journey, and you’re allowed to take it at your own pace. trust that the clarity will come in time, and for now, just honor where you are.

i loathe my program ngl. i really can't see myself in this field. i'll just finish the degree and then pivot to something else. idk, i hope i find what i want in the process.

but behind those questions running in my head there is a hope in my heart that God won't allow me to step into this program if it isn't for me. It's not easy especially having low scores during exams and cannot even answer oral recitations even though i studied overnight. Pero padayon gyaponnn EKONOMISTA!

I really want my program right now, but I got so exhausted and drained, halos yung tulog di na sya pahinga, gigising pa din akong unmotivated and drained, gusto ko magpa-council pero natatakot ako, di ko alam why, I feel like the dumbest and stupid student in my class, kasi lahat sila kahit di nagrerecite they can still answer kapag tinawag, matass pa din scores sa quizzes and activities, tas ako slow learner hahahaha

this is me first semester bsarchi, since hs ako gusto k tlagang i pursue yung archi kahit na mahina ako sa math.Not until dec2025, i feel lost ayoko rin agad agad na mag shift that time kase iniisp ko gastusin since halos 30k tuition k wala pa yung materials dun kaya pinipilit ko na tapusin yung 2nd sem that time. Pagka january nasabi ko na lang na "sorry ma pagod nako,gusto ko ng mag shift" gusto ko pang ilaban pero yung katawan ko mismo ang bumigay. Pumunta ako mismo sa office "Sigurado kana ba sa desisyon mo iha?" naiiyak pa na sumagot ng oo. But rn i'm happy sa course na nilipatan ko soon i pu pursue ko rin ang archi in gods perfect timing:)

been there also. Na feel ko yan when i was on my 3rd yr in engineering. Grabe yung self doubt because the pressure is rising kase patapos na. I'm a below average engineering student but here i am now a licensed Engineer. Self doubt, pressure and feeling lost are totally normal kase nasa peak kana. Remember, BIG SACRIFICES = BIGGER REWARD. Goodluck. Kaya mo yan. Look for the brighter sides. And Pray palagi🤍🍀

political science ang sinisigaw ng puso ko 😭 though masaya naman ako sa linguistics kasi mahilig ako sa mga kpop, anime, cdramas, kdramas, lakorn, etc. (may mga foreign language courses kami), mas malakas pa rin pagmamahal ko sa bansa at pagkilatis ng abusadong sistema 😭💔 sadly, hindi ako ganoon ka-privileged to choose passion over practicality :((
