And people really underestimate the fact that their children are human beings with their own way of thinking, they’ll look at a child and marvel at the fact that they turned out differently from how they were educated, when their children are nothing but the result of their parenting. They just didn’t get what they wanted because the child learned something different from their actions than what they wanted them to.

My mom too!! she does not even mention marriage to my big sister talkless of me but she's big on us making our own money. Mind you she had a beautiful relationship with our dad, her husband so it couldn't be her protecting us from marriage.
