I work in healthcare and this is one of the reasons I refuse to use my personal phone for work. Will carry two phones forever!

The money makers for hospitals are ortho and neuro services lines. Stryker provides the implants/devices for both of those specialties.

My takeaway - keep your work email off of your personal devices. I have been saying this for years.

I work in the backup industry! I talk about avoiding this daily, matter a fact will be presenting at an event tomorrow specifically about recovering promptly from outages like this! Immutability in backup storage is a must!

As someone who works in healthcare and deals/works with Stryker on a weekly basis. This is a huge hit to hospitals. Not only do hospitals have to pivot away from them but have to change systems which takes a lot of time

I work in surgery. It was a big disruption and we couldnt upload information from our stryker box (the thing we use to record the surgeries if the surgeon is using a robot or other camera) to their chart. Big delays in patient care on the othopedic surgery side too I’m sure being a lot of stryker items. Stryker is probably the largest medical distributor in the US, this was bad.
