“Nobody is trading SMT without other confluences” — IRRELEVANT. The point is that SMT divergences themselves are not what people think they are, and do not have predictive power. We’d see a distribution shift using just SMT if it was a valuable confluence.

You don’t take a trade on smt alone. Smt is just 1 confluence. You would need more confluences to execute. Any ICT trader knows this, you still need multiple confluences before executing because there are obviously multiple smts during a session that simply won’t work.
