I love the way you approached the request for this video !! So many people fall into that fixation of comparison when they see people’s stats online, myself as an example, and it was a really nice change to see some more genuine personal thoughts into your college app decisions! 💗 I’m also interested in mental health advocacy. Are you able to do a more in-depth video about that passion project? Like how you started your research and then applied it to tangible actions :)? I’m applying to my Mayor Youth’s Council & wanting to make a similar impact to my community! I just don’t know how to push my ideas out in a more rural city. 🥹

Good tips. Being well into my career and having gone to a state school, I’d also say, don’t worry too much about what school you get into. College is what you put into it, and your career is what you put into it. 💯 respect for those that get into a very prestigious school, but you can do great getting into a less prestigious school and putting a lot into it.

this is SOOOOO helpful, esp as a current junior i feel so behind on the race. hearing your story regarding ecs give me a little more hope to start something and make a change this year. i’d lovee to hear more about your essays too and given your storytelling skill, im so looking forward to it!!!
