Fantastic point. Another bad faith argument people make about Crockett v. Talarico is, “Jasmine has more experience in Congress than James does.“ However, if that’s the litmus test for who should be elected, then whoever Rep. Crockett beat shouldn’t have been outvoted because they had the greater experience compared to her.

If politicians can only pass laws if their party is in the majority, our government is failing us. We win when we elect politicians who can cross the aisle, find common ground, and pass bills that help Americans. Dems having the trifecta is even better and we need to appreciate those rare times that it happens. We will never get there if people refuse to vote though.

James Talarico has passed a lot of legislation in Texas representing a democratic minority. Things like a bill allowing kids in juvenile detention to get their high school diplomas.

Jasmine passed 3 bills into law in her only time in the Texas house. James passed just one bill in hospital first year. Jasmine was a junior representative at the federal level, and that is a different ball game. If yall get Talarico to win the senate seat, we'll see how good he is at passing bills. I will make sure yall regret using "bill passing" as a reason to attack Jasmine.

I voted for Talarico cause I really truly liked how he talked like Obama. I got on Ticktock and see Black people calling all Latinos racist and people sexiest. It really turned me off and really I dislike Jasmine that she didn't use her platform to tell people to stop and unify. He got more legislation passed in a red state she passed nothing. I saw a woman just lose to Trump. I didn't see race I just made a observation now Im a racist wtf.
