ugh I love this because honestly this is the best way to experience America. I love a little local bar with a guy who never misses a night on the same bar stool so much. there's a comfort in those places that's hard to describe

American here... I have never gone to England to experience a true pub....and I haven't been to a bar in many years here in America. So I am only going by what I see on social media and such.....but BOTH have their charms...why does one have to be better?

Never been to England, but I spent time at some pubs in Brussels, it was a good time. They had mainly pale ales with low ABV. Stella was the most popular beer, but not a ton of variety. Most of them had 2-4 beers on tap, no IPAs atleast the ones I went too.
