Yes, I stopped on the side of the road to cry & decided to record myself.. every day I get messages asking me ‘how are you always happy’ & I understand because mostly I share my ‘happy moments’ but that doesn’t mean I don’t have ‘down moments’. I am a highly sensitive person which I know is a controversial topic and many people have many different opinions about it. All I can say is how I deal with it and how it makes me feel. As most of you know I’ve been going through a rough period and while I’m slowly getting better I definitely still have my moments.. even before all this, my emotions have always been very intense, the good and the ‘less good’. In the past weeks I’ve been more open about how I’m feeling & it’s been much appreciated. I am sharing this because I have always felt so alone with my emotions, the way I react to certain situations etc. by sharing things like this I have felt more accepted and less alone because many of you struggle ‘inside’ too. I am posting this video as a reminder to LET YOURSELF FEEL, everything. Allow yourself to release. Do it on your own terms. Only YOU know how you genuinely feel & what needs to be done for you to feel your ‘best’. You are not ‘dramatic’ for allowing yourself to feel, to release. Crying doesn’t make you ‘weak’, if anything, for me personally, it allows me to release everything that’s build up and continue my day on a positive note. You are not alone & neither am I. The rain will stop and the sun will shine again. ♡ #MentalHealth #highlysensitiveperson
