As a property management girlie, you are probably being charged a “termination fee” and you owe back any free months you got when you moved in/ owe through a 60 day notice. If you complain enough they should drop it, unfortunately, the fees are normal.

Call them and attempt to settle this as it was a health hazard to stay and you reached out multiple times to complain in hopes it would be fixed (I hope you did this) and then if not tell them your lawyer will be reaching out only speak with the property manager.

If it ends up going to court make sure you show up otherwise you could end up with a $20,000 dollar judgement on your credit (speaking from experience😭). I’m sorry you’re going through this, landlords can be so terrible!
