We have 2 golden retrievers and one of them decided our 5 ft fence is not high enough. New fence coming April 2026 🤦♀️

All my 4 dogs has collars on all the time with name tags just to be save to don’t run off but if something ever did happen I know they will be okay and my German shepherd is micro chipped just to be save since he purebred I would recommend having collar just in case of emergency in someone would know who to call just case they get out or something could happen bc anything can happen

lol my dog she is an escape artist we can have our doors and gates closed and then she would somehow escape she jumps fences and we always know where she is cause she always goes up the road to this one house where they always have dogs and that’s where we always find her and good thing we know where she always is and sometimes they bring her back to us, which is really fun in my opinion😂

One time we didn’t shut the front door all the way and came home to them running around the front yard😭 my lab has Tractive so he clearly stayed close enough to not alert my phone😂

I have an air tag on my dogs harness (we live in an apartment but if we lived in a house I’d prob put it on a collar),such peace of mind giver

Im extremely paranoid i have a 1 year old cattle dog mutt and he lives in his Fi collar because my last dog was a runner, he has never truly ran away

Wait!! Kia did the SAME thing as Zeus one time 😭🤣 once i figured out she was gone I ran to the front door to go search the neighborhood and she was on the porch waiting 😭 but I bet if it was any longer she would have also pulled a Zia 😅🤣

My dog runs away about once a month, he has no collar, we have no fence. I always know when it happens, one of the kids opens the door and he bolts. I can’t afford a fence right now. At least he ALWAYS runs to the neighborhood behind mine and can be bribed with food. So glad you got your pups back safe love

One of my goldens has managed to get through the front door when it opens with sitters twice and once with me, every time he's been so excited that he just runs in circles in the front yard until he gets exhausted and comes back 🤣. My older dog also escaped a fence once and went to the nearest liquor store and waited for us, no one in the house drinks or had ever been to the liquor store and I still can't figure out why she decided to just wait there 🤷♂️.
