what I don’t understand at least show wise is why is Amy so important? This last season is the last chance for everything to be wrapped up. Everything to be explained. Are they just never going to go over why or how they time travel? The reasoning behind all of it? Or is it just going to be them running around in the past like they have been in the past few seasons.

They won’t be able to do this justice with the time allotted and because Amy wasn’t a major character in their daily lives in the show. Just hearing you read the scene with Claire makes me cry a bit. Very painful. That’s the power of Diana’s words and her work.

I thought they would have the bear scene happen to Lizzy instead bc of the show audiences familiarity to her. Lizzy doesn’t really have a big part in Bees but I was wrong. So I agree with you - it’s kind of like the Bugs, the show didn’t do a good job developing a relationship with them so the impact wasn’t as strong as the betrayal in the books. Also, with Amy, in the books, the readers have a strong relationship with Bobby and Aidan and we don’t in the show. So we’ll see how this goes💛

I didn’t read the books yet (waiting for the show to end). Didn’t know someone was going to die this episode. The scene with the husband and sons saying goodbye, especially the oldest son saying “i love you mom” broke me 😭😭 but i’m pregnant, so maybe its’s the hormones 🤣

I was thinking the same thing… while it’s going to very sad and traumatic no matter what. I don’t think non book readers will feel the same emotions about it. In the books you know Amy very well and you know her children. The after math of the attack and grief of her family is heartbreaking and I just don’t think the show will translate all the emotions.

If they keep the faith story line William (Jamie’s son) would have had sex with Jane (Jamie’s and Clair’s granddaughter. So that makes Jane Willam’s niece!!! Is that right?
