i was on stattera for over a month and the side effects were AWFUL and i didn’t even see a change in my concentration, just got prescribed with Qelbree wish me luck

qelbree was nothing more than a sedative for me. I was sleeping 12-14 hours a day and was still exhausted and lethargic on waking. idk if it would be different for someone with hyperactive or inattentive adhd but since im combination it was awful

Straterra and Methylphenidate and Amphetamine salts didn’t work for me because my liver got rid of the meds too fast, so it was a very spiky graph that gave me horrible rebound. Qelbree is giving me insomnia and eating issues, but I’m still eating. The thing about this tho is that Qelbree feels identical to Vyvanse, just not a stimulant. I really appreciate this video. Thank you.

Qelbree was the only non stimulant that worked for me, but it only worked for like three months. I eventually maxed out on it and ended up trying stimulants instead

If someone took Strattera but had to stop because they had a stomach issue preventing them from taking capsules, but the Strattera worked REALLY well without crazy side effects, would this drug possibly have similar lack of side effects?

I went from Atomoxetine to Qelbree (on 200 mg). The only symptom I've had is insomnia. I have not had these kinds of side affects thankfully. I've been on it for 4 months now and it helps with executive dysfunction and my attention. I have noticed that sometimes it doesn't help some days, but others, I notice a positive difference.

I tried atomoxetine recently and it was the worst feeling ever. I felt like I would be freezing and then sweating. Food tasted disgusting. Even though it's supposedly not a stimulant I felt like I was speeding my brains out and my eyes were like mega wide. I was on it for one day and I couldn't wait for it to wear off. I recently started stimulant, and I barely feel them at all, but suddenly I have motivation to do things. Things just don't seem arbitrarily difficult

Pharmacist here! Wish I could get CE credit for watching you, such good info. I also notice this is being used more for kids, I though because of stimulant stigma but maybe it has to do with not stunting growth and ability to open capsule

Wondering if you would make a video on akathisia? I take Seroquel for bipolar and if I take too large a dose I get extrapyramidal symptoms, which I try to manage with my hydroxyzine, propranolol, and or klonopin, with mixed results. The symptoms usually only appear if I miss a dose (50 every 4 hours 4 times a day)

On Quelbree because I’m also on a stimulant (for excessive daytime sleepiness but it doesn’t help executive dysfunction). Only side effect I’ve had is it’s made my preexisting insomnia worse
