@tapridch: after 7+ years of my international careers in 3 different job markets, i stopped reading job descriptions like invitations and started reading them like contracts. not looking for a job right now but a talk by @techtalkuk last sunday about AI and the job market got me thinking about how much has changed and how little job postings have caught up. these 5 checks take 5 minutes and they've saved me from every burnout trap i almost walked into. because the best career advice for neurodivergent women isn't "just apply everywhere". it's knowing which postings aren't worth your energy in the first place. . neurodivergent career advice | job search tips | how to evaluate job postings | neurodivergent jobs | ADHD job search | career checklist | job red flags 2026 | how to read job descriptions | neurodivergent women careers | job audit checklist | career advice for women | burnout prevention | nd career tips | job posting red flags | how to find the right job | adhd burnout | neurodivergent job search strategy | career tips for adhd women | job market 2026 | best jobs for neurodivergent women | how to spot a bad job | ux researcher career | job description analysis | women in tech careers
When the only “benefits” are a friendly working environment and low hierarchy, u know it’s bad 😭

if they emphasise on ownership more than once, for example in other words like independently lead xyz, but the role is not Senior, they are gonna expect higher skills you don’t have but will rip you off for the hard work you put in to compensate.

I’m a recruiter and we only require a CV. No AI on our end and we read the whole thing.

Too many skills also may mean one person who did a job of 5 people left and later they will realise the need multiple people to cover it
