We are raising a generation under the harsh eyes of quick judgment. A toddler says “no,” and suddenly she is labeled spoiled… rude… difficult. But no one pauses long enough to see the full picture. No one talks about the part where she softly says, “please mummy.” when she needed a hair clip on her hair. No one notices that behind that little “no” is a tiny human learning to express herself… learning preferences… learning independence… learning her voice. We are so quick to correct children for saying “no,” yet we pray they grow into adults who can set boundaries, speak up and not be silenced by the world. How will they learn… if not now? That little girl didn’t want to be difficult. She just wanted to be a pretty princess. 👑 To wear what made her feel beautiful and happy! To be seen. To be heard and in the same breath, she said “please.” Isn’t that what we are trying to teach? Maybe the problem is not the child. Maybe it is a society that judges moments instead of understanding journeys… that labels quickly instead of listening deeply...
