The.Simpsons :
I’m a Scorpio and my Husband is an Aries. In our own separate lives as well as together as a team, we’ve both put so much work into to healing and integrating our shadows. We are both very aware that without that work, which is constant, the conflict you described would define our marriage. But, in all our years together, we’ve never had a “fight”. Yes we have discussions and hard conversations but it never gets into yelling, we are always on the same team. Because I love and trust him, he does pull me into more action, and I bring him back into a place of peace and calm in the midst of his constant, fast pace because I am his home. He brings me back into a logical headspace when I’m spiraling, and I remind him to account for emotions, both mine and his. I know him, so I don’t expect him to exist on the same emotional plane as me, but that’s okay because he supports me and loves me through my ups and downs. I’ll never be as logical and regimented as he will be, but that’s okay because I’ll choose to be a part of it just because I want to spend time with him, and I’m ALWAYS cheering him on while he forgets to acknowledge his accomplishments. He witnesses me, and I witness him. We balance each other. We compliment each other so well, and make such a great team, but only because we choose, every single day, to do the work and to love one another - love being a verb, a conscious, purposeful effort. And, it’s not taxing or tiresome to do that work every day because the reward of our solid marriage and deep, soul-level friendship is so beautiful and so fulfilling.
