@corporatedropout_mom: You know that moment in a job interview when you realize it’s already going nowhere? The interviewer is rushed, multitasking, hasn’t read your resume and already trying to leave. If you’ve ever been through the corporate hiring process, you know the signs of a “we’ll be in touch” job interview that really means “talk to you never.” It’s a shame this is so common. Many companies let a lot of qualified candidates fall through the cracks. What do you think? #corporatelife #jobinterview #jobsearch #worklife #workproblems
😂 My hiring manager was 30 minutes late during the interview as he straight up left and came back and I knew right away I wasn't going to be hired...he also said there were 50 applicants.

I was ghosted by this business owner for my interview twice in a row. I’m not following up anymore.

I just had an interview earlier today and both hiring managers were kind of flat, lacked enthusiasm and felt dry. I know I rocked all of my answers to the behavioral based questions. It felt rushed a bit. It only lasted 20 minutes tops and they blocked out an hour for an interview. I’m not sure if they were feeling me or what. Idk what’s gonna happen.

Oh man this triggered me. Late last year, I interviewed with SIX different people at a company and had AMAZING interviews the entire time. I get to the final interview and the new hiring manager making the final decision didn’t even have a copy of my resume or looked at my LinkedIn beforehand. He had absolutely zero clue who I was. I didn’t get the job. Oh and this entire process took 80 days. I had interviewed with two different C-level execs too that had approved me along the way. Oh man the wound has reopened.

I just had an interview with someone that was 30 minutes late... will I take it if they offer anyway? yes because this is the first call I've gotten in a month for an interview and I'm desperate 😭

I’ve been in a similar situation before. I waited an hour for the interviewer, and the interview lasted another hour. Somehow, it didn’t feel right for me to join the company, so I’m actually glad I didn’t get the job.

I ended an after about 15 minutes once and told the hiring manager I want feeling them or their vibe. She was 5 minutes late and didn’t introduce herself and cold started the first question. This was for a Senior Manager role, the HM was the head of the department (VP level)

I had an interview that took a whole month long for a senior role ( 1-30 min phone screen. a 1h back to back with the hiring managers and a final interview with the hiring managers boss who are directors). That final interview - one of the hiring managers’s boss came late by like more than 5 min and I ended up rushing and feeling no sense of sync from the disruption. It felt so uncoordinated and I just knew I wasn’t gonna get that job. Prior to going that final round, the recruiter told me candidates hear back 1-2 days post interview. They left me “In Progress”, went past the SLA time and I had to follow up twice and asked politely to let me know they if they move with other candidates, and finally got the verbal “no” I’ve been waiting for. However, the day I got the “no” they reposted the role with remote option. It is just weird af.

I really don’t understand why they don’t read the resume. I have had so many interviews like this. Recently had one where I talked about a job I had at a non profit, it said on my resume it was a non profit, and I mentioned in my professional summary that I’ve worked at a non profit. Then at the end of the interview I mentioned it again and they said “wait you’ve worked at a non profit!” Like dude come on
