What she’s not telling you is that someone diagnosed with borderline personality disorder most likely suffered some form of ptsd, abuse, or CPTSD as a child and hasn’t healed yet. While it’s not anyone’s job to heal, it’s ok to be a safe space with healthy boundaries.

I just diagnosed with borderline personality disorder last week and I’ve never made my kid feel that way, only love. And I don’t guilt my child, other people have told me that they feel very loved and appreciated.

When professionals talk about BPD I think it should be due diligence about cPTSD bc oversight can cause serious misdiagnosises and understanding.

Question: doesn't everyone have disagreements/dislikes with those that are close? I know I am not perfect and my short comings are talked about by others at various times in life. Its just part of life in my opinion
