As a banker we teach about these scams. I bring the RCMP in to coach clients at advice events on how to spot scams. Despite my efforts I am shocked (but not) how many people fall for these without their own due diligence!!! Ugg 😳

It could possibly be him. There’s a girl here on tiktok that says she got a message form a random account that claimed to be him and she didn’t believe him so he ended up messaging her from his verified account to prove it was him.

As someone who’s worked with celebrities, it gets so old to tell people over and over that celebrities aren’t reaching out in this way. Unfortunately people are so excited to be connected to someone special they don’t listen.
