In Sweden you can start learning how to drive at 16 but you are not able to actually get a driver’s license until you are atleast 18.

In Australia you have to be 15.9 months to do your preparation learners . Then at 16 you can get your learners (have to drive with someone) and then at 17 and after 100 hours of driving you can take your test and then your a provisional driver for 3 years and display plates

Here in the Netherlands we have to get driving lessons, from a “driving school”, most people need between 20 and 30 lessons. You can start when you’re 16,5, you can do your theory exam when you’re 16, but it’s only valid for 1,5 years, if you don’t pass your driving exam before that, you have to do you’re theory exam again. You can get your driving exam from 17, but until your 18 there has to be an adult with you, and I believe they need a license for at least 5 years
