O MIT Media Lab (@mitmedialab) dividiu todo mundo em três grupos: um escrevia usando ChatGPT, um usando Google, e um só com a própria cabeça. O grupo do ChatGPT teve a conectividade cerebral mais fraca dos três, e minutos depois de terminar a maioria não conseguia citar uma frase do texto que tinha acabado de escrever. Os autores não chamaram isso de atrofia. Chamaram de dívida cognitiva. A diferença importa, porque dívida é uma coisa que você contrai hoje e paga depois, com juros. Agora a parte que quase ninguém leu, e é a única que te dá o que fazer com essa informação. Na última sessão eles trocaram os grupos de lugar. Quem tinha usado IA o tempo todo e precisou escrever sozinho ficou com o cérebro subativado. Mas quem tinha escrito sozinho antes e só então usou a IA teve memória melhor e mais ativação nas áreas de raciocínio. A ordem muda o resultado. Escrever primeiro e usar a IA depois ativa.
