i was on the phone with my mom and told her i’m gonna stay single because i have no idea where this future husband would come because at the time my routine was home-work-home. while i was saying that i was waiting for the train unknowingly staring at my future home( my now fiance had just bought a place there), the house i always admired and thought it would be nice to live there. after that call a week went by and i met my future husband. Just when i had given up and made my peace with it. we moved in after 6 weeks, we have this feeling like we’ve known each other since always and our wedding is in 10 weeks 🥰

When it’s meant to be, it is. I was about to leave Brazil for the Netherlands to do my master’s and work. Three months before leaving, I met my husband. After our first kiss, he asked me to date him. Four months later we were living together and engaged. Nine months after our first kiss, I was pregnant with our first child (we now have two boys). It’s been 13 years now ❤️And yes, I had the same feeling — I didn’t want to date anymore (one of the reasons I was leaving Brazil). But he turned out to be the love of my life.

So envious of couples knowing instantly they want to be with each other for the rest of their lives. I had been with my partner for more than 17 years and had always fought about why he doesn’t have marriage on his mind. I always thought I’m not ‘THE ONE’ and he eventually will end us and marry the next woman he meets. Some say its because he doesn’t feel at peace with me but if that is the case why wait so long to figure that out. I am sad, yet hopeful, yet angry. But I do wish you well, had been following you for sometimes and happy to see someone’s getting their fairy tale beginning (coz life starts, not end). 🫶
