It’s because Bethesda tries to cram a bunch of monuments and famous structures into one map and 76 is just the galvanized square steel meme and they just keep adding to the original map

while this is VERY cool, from a gameplay perspective it probably isnt always the best to have a perfect rendition of the real world in a game, i dont mind if the videogame im playing isnt exactly the same as real life as long as the map is fun and interesting

What I'm hearing is the bombs warped reality the further east you go, so we 100% need a Fallout game in Texas where things get more warped as you travel from El Paso to Beaumont.

I'm more willing to give fallout 3 the benefit of the doubt as lots of locations are still accurate if warped and still feels big even on a shrunk scale. fallout 4 feels cramped and "sandboxie" to me.

I think Rockstar did a great job of getting IRL buildings and landmarks into GTA5... I can't wait to see what GTA6 will bring as far as matching the locations in game.

I always feel like fallout 4 could have been a whole lot larger cuz it still throws me off. how close Boston really is from Concord when you look at a map of Boston Concord in real life like they could have filled that place in with a whole lot, more interesting stuff and more places to explore It's only when you get to the northeastern side of the map where Salem is and all that where it feels semi larger than it is
