We love john MacArthur because he love the lord. We know John MacArthur because he preached Jesus Christ. But who are you?

Paul Washer. He can certainly humble us can’t he. God bless him.

This was at shepherds conference last week. It was a blessing to hear this entire message and much needed in a time where we can get discouraged in the midst of losing mighty men who have led the way. He opened with Joshua 1:1-4 when he said this.

Pastor Jason Cole :
The weight of this hit me hard this week. I was texting a friend in another state about it, and his response was simple: “It’s time to step up.” He was right. It’s time for the next generation to stand in the pulpits and faithfully exposit the text. I’m still a young pastor, but my desire is to lead those in my care to love Christ and love His Word the same way those men did for me. Grateful for men like Paul Washer who continue to preach clearly, boldly, and faithfully … always pointing us back to Christ.

I have watched Mr. Washer for 10+ years. While his messages are humbling, has anyone ever see him smile or laugh. The gospel is "good news" and "the joy of the Lord is our strength."
