My mom let try cooking using her Betty Crocker cookbook from 1958. I got that cookbook after she passed. That book and my grandma taught me to cook.

I love this so much. It warms my heart when I see old family recipes coming to life. I wonder if it’s a Mediterranean thing where our mothers never taught us to cook but we watched and we learnt that way. I too told myself how to cook. I’m so excited for these cooking segments, I love them. I can’t wait. Thank you for bringing so much of you and your passion to TikTok! Also I wonder the different pronunciations of food if they’re connected to dialect and also somehow westernised in combination with their native tongue. ♥️
