Fried Green Tomatoes 🍅✨ 🛒 Ingredients: 3 large green tomatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 large eggs 2 tbsp milk 1 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper Vegetable oil, for frying 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish) 👩‍🍳 Directions: Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In a third bowl, combine the cornmeal, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Dredge each tomato slice in the flour, dip into the egg mixture, then coat well with the cornmeal mixture. Fry the tomato slices in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
