My local shop lets me buy his screens but that’s probably because he trusts me but what I want to say is that any defective ones is under warranty so I do think it’s cheeky of that shop to not let him have warranty if the screen is defective without him damaging it.

When you sell the components individually, connect them to the JCID and demonstrate their functionality, thereby ensuring he doesn't return and attribute any issues to you.

You can literally see where he applied pressure near the Face ID, probably when he was trying to fit the screen. If it’s an LCD he probably got confused with the screen sticking out a bit more, and tried forcing it down
