Michael’s insomnia that night was particularly bad because he was in severe opioid withdrawal! His last Demerol injection was 3 days before his death and opioid withdrawals are most severe between the by 48 - 72 hours. If Michael had been given Methadone or suboxone he would’ve been able to sleep with just that first Valium tablet he was given!

you can't inject yourself with propofol once it's in your veins it's a matter of seconds til you fall asleep. SECONDS. he would get drowsy quickly and not be able to take the needle out and would have it in his arm.
