Garlic Cajun salmon pasta Ingredients: 2 salmon fillets - seasoned with: 1 tbsp all purpose seasoning, 1 tsp cajun seasoning, 1 tbsp garlic granules, 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 onion 3 clovers garlic 2 tbsp all purpose seasoning / 1 tbsp cajun seasoning / 1 smoked tsp paprika / 1 tsp Italian seasoning / salt & pepper 250ml reduced fat crème fraiche 40g Parmesan Fresh parsley 140g pasta 75ml water & a little extra pasta water Method: - Prepare the salmon with a drizzle of oil and coating in the seasoning. Then place in a well oiled pan, cook for 10 minutes on a medium heat, turning regularly so ensure every side is cooked through. - Remove the salmon and add in the chopped onion, leave to soften for a few minutes and add in the garlic. After a couple of minutes, sprinkle over the seasoning. Let this cook off, then down the heat and add in the crème fraiche. Stir through and add the water. Leave this mixture for 5 minutes to simmer then add the remaining seasoning, parmesan and parsley. Loosen with some pasta water. Stir until combined and leave to simmer for 10 minutes until thickened. (Save a little bit of the sauce to add to the top) - Pop the pasta onto boil, and when cooked add into the sauce. - Serve up the pasta and top with the salmon, and pour over some of that sauce from earlier. Finish with fresh parsley. #DinnerIdeas #dinnerinspo #mealideas #mealinspo
