Minimum wage means minimum wage,the MINIMUM someone can be paid in each state. WHY is it OK for restaurants to pay their staff LESS then minimum wage? Don't say because they get tips either, because lots of other people work at jobs where they get tips and they get a minimum or higher wage too. We need to change the laws!

OK, what y’all don’t understand I’m a server. I haven’t been a server for that long and I do make very nice tips because I have regulars that come in and I’m very grateful but this is a small business that I work at. He’s been open for 40 years and it’s usually only regulars that come in and we’ve had to change the prices cause inflation and everything and stuff like that. Imagine if he started paying us 12 an hour to work like six hours and then we only get one table and our sales be 80 bucks each he would be losing money.
