That’s why if you have a lot of money you do not place more than £120k in one bank. Once you run out of banks, you expand to other countries and then diversify to other means like gold and securities.

Revolut is the best card by far I have never used my bank account since I made it only revolut. Just my salary etc goes there bank

I got a message from Revolut today that they were granted banking licence. However my account is not yet with the new entity and is still an “e-money account” and not a “current account” (their words) so I guess FSCS protection has not yet kicked in. They said they will contact me again regarding the process to transfer to a “current account”. Definitely good news though.
