It got nasty here too and at one point we had to head into our basement shelter cause our watch went to a warning. I haven't heard that any tornado was spotted, but my anxiety was bad.

I too hate driving in the rain and at night. One night, about 12 years ago, I was about ten minutes away home in the pouring rain-the kind where even with the wipers going maximum speed you only get one second of visibility so you have to drive at two miles per hour-when BAM wipers STOPPED. I was in the second lane of four lanes and was too scared to stop or try to pull over so I crept alone while panicking inside. It only lasted like two seconds but those two seconds felt like ten years! I made it home safe after I pulled over and cried for a moment. The wipers never stopped like that again thankfully.
