I don't know why people hate on hinduism so much, and it's not a big deal. I see these types of videos on my fyp all the time. If you're proud to be a Christian or Muslim, that's okay. Express yourself. But you don't need to try and 'disprove' other religions. You don't need to invalidate other people's beliefs. Every religion is it's own. And everyone should respect that. So in terms what the original guy meant, pagan is usually used to describe pre - Christian religions usually from Europe. So all this depends on what a god is. A European Christian has a completely different cultural idea of what a God should be compared to what a God should be on the Indian Subcontinent, even using the word God isn’t ideal cuz there isn’t a good one to one. I’ve seen people call Devas as Demi-gods which I think is really dumb, we’re trying to water down our deities to be lesser and exonerate other deities to appeal to the western ideal of what is a god. The term god isn’t applicable to the Brahman cuz the Christian Deity and the Brahman operate in different ways. The Brahman is supposed to be all encompassing, it’s the multiverse itself, the essence of reality is the Brahman. God is supposed to be something apart from the universe that made the universe, it exists apart from it. They’re too very different ideas of what a supreme deity is supposed to be. The Brahman is more expansive than the Christian supreme deity in my opinion but that could just be confirmation bias. If they want to call us pagan that’s fine, they’re just ignorant and full of hatred, all they want to do is hate and by their own holy book they’ll burn for eternity.
