@crmnallyobsessed: The Virgin Mary has been stolen, and a Rochester, New York priest is pleading for her return — no questions asked. Father William Coffas of Holy Cross Church says a statue of Mother Mary disappeared from its grotto over the weekend. At first he believed it had been taken to be cleaned, but quickly realized that it was, in fact, stolen. The grotto that housed the statue has historic significance, built and dedicated to the healing of soldiers returning from war by four brothers who served in — and survived — World War II. Father Coffas says he has been in contact with Rochester Police, but says the church will not press charges if the statue is returned. #truecrime #stolenstatue
