Starting from off-cooling condition: 1️⃣ Room temperature rises 2️⃣ Controller energises the liquid solenoid valve 3️⃣ Refrigerant flows to the evaporator 4️⃣ Suction pressure rises 5️⃣ Low-pressure switch reaches cut-in 6️⃣ Compressor starts and cooling begins Simple control logic. But this sequence is what allows pump-down systems to operate safely and prevent liquid refrigerant from migrating back to the compressor.
