Lives that once moved through busy streets, homes that once echoed with voices… yet in the end, silence. It is a reminder that this world moves on quickly. People forget, life continues, and the only thing that truly remains with us is what we sent ahead — our deeds. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Follow the funeral, for it reminds you of death.” (Sahih Muslim) And Allah reminds us in the Qur’an: “Every soul shall taste death, and you will only be given your full reward on the Day of Resurrection.” (Qur’an 3:185) SubhanAllah. Some people live surrounded by crowds, yet die alone. Others may leave this world quietly, but their good deeds fill their grave with light. So ask yourself tonight: Who will stand at your funeral?
