@jesscharnleyxo: ⚠️Tick removal⚠️ Ticks are small parasites that dogs usually pick up while out on walks in long grass, parks, woodland or fields. They attach to the skin and feed on blood, and can sometimes go unnoticed under the coat. If we find a tick during grooming, we remove it safely using a specialist tick remover which gently twists the tick out to ensure it’s removed properly. Just to reassure everyone - ticks are picked up outdoors, not in the salon. Grooming often helps spot things like this early so they can be removed quickly and safely. 🐶
