I was in nursing school, clinicals started at 0630. I thought it’d be a good idea to get a cafe misto with a double shot from Starbie’s on the way in. Anyways, I downed it within 20 minutes because I didn’t want to leave it in the breakroom. Did rounds with my nurse and was handed some lovenox. I went to scan the pts wristband and enter the info and my hands were shaking so bad. He kinda laughed and said “hey shakes, no shots from you”. Roger that. Gave it all back to my nurse and he and I had a good laugh about my caffeine intake.
