Even with the whole Epstein saga the specifics of how it unfolded is much more mundane than a global illuminati ring, it’s about a system that for the most part ignored, endured, and tolerated for decades, and mostly ignored. It’s about dodgy accountancy, disregard for financial regulation and adequate AML. Things that would’ve been questioned by financial institutions and revealed a great many things earlier, but weren’t in the name of profit. This is a more important analysis of the whole Epstein scandal than treating it like some Eyes Wide Shut in real life
