@smollentine: We were gifted a beautiful capsule of news clippings about the humane society, how animal welfare started and so much more dating all the way back to 1904!! These are some of the articles. It’s incredible to look back and time and see how language has progressed, “sugar coating” has become more prevalent, and humane treatment of animals has developed and progressed.
