I’d highly recommend “District 9.” It’s exactly the plot you’re looking for. It’s about aliens who come to Earth looking for help because their planet is dying, and instead of welcoming them, humans enslave them instead.

Humans are truly terrifying. Even ignoring our modern technology I would be petrified at the idea of facing even just one person from a few thousand years ago. We’re such a bizarre species that totally upended how a lot of life works. I would love for there to be more alien movies where WE are the weird ones.
