My mom did this for me once in 7th grade when I was having a really difficult time with girls in my class. we went shopping and it’s still one of my most favorite memories. Trust me. This will mean the world for her and she will never forget your special day ❤️

I’m a single mom to an 11 year old boy. He has such a big sensitive heart ❤️Last week he was sobbing in the morning over something small. I kept him home and we had a mental health day. Went to the park, out to lunch, got some ice cream. Life is so short and they have big feelings at this age.

My Mom called my workplace said I was sick...didn't know until she called and said you are sick today and need to be with your Momma. We watched movies and ate junk food in our pjs. I was 20 and now 58 years old, and my Mom is gone...still one of my favorite memories.

My daughter is 38 and she says the day that I picked her up from school because she was upset and we had a Gilmore girls day when she was in eighth grade. She said it is one of her best memories.

this is great! I give all my kids the option for “mental health days” like once or twice a semester. They can be home and just get caught up on life.
