@makefilmsimple: Top-Down Shot With a Simple Phone Setup 📱⬇️ Want to record clean top-down shots without complicated rigs? Here’s one simple setup I often use. I screw a telescopic selfie stick into my tripod and mount the iPhone with a phone holder at the end. Then I tilt the tripod head to about 45° and extend the selfie stick over the desk. This creates a stable overhead position perfect for filming books, products, desk setups or tutorials. To make recording easier, I preview the image on my Mac or an external monitor, and start recording using a Bluetooth clicker so I don’t touch the phone and shake the shot.
