That's the pattern with hybrid systems—the founder sets the standards and promotes themselves. Legal? Yes. Traditional? No. That's the debate.

I'm not sure if he practiced indonesian pentjak silat or not but in the intro to the movie art of war he was doing a silat djuru( form) in a traditional silat uniform.

if a Ferrari races a dump 🚚 obviously speed itd going to blow it away but if it plays chicken with a dump truck its small frame will give instant thats why there is weight class so Tyson dropping black belts doesn't remove what black belt achieved you people watched ufc and decided by your opinion that bjj is the best martial arts system in existence yet say cross training building a vast field of knowledge gives someone a more complete system now you are attacking that very idea lol .
