Maybe we also need to consider China makes a lot of our stuff. If we moved all the manufacturing we need for all our stuff, from China to Canada, we would be even more of an environmental nightmare.

China is working hard to curb their carbon emissions. I donate to an Environmental Group because I’m so worried about Climate Change for future generations. They are doing a lot especially in BC.

China is waaay ahead of the rest of the world on ALTERNATIVE green energy production to REPLACE carbon emitting fossil fuels but they can’t flick a switch overnight. They have a huge population to feed thus a lot of factories. Albertans were offered money for job retraining to make green energy technology. They refused to leave the oilfields. Even now Alberta government pushes for more fossil fuel production.
